- Assisting in execution of a transfer of land and preparation of relevant documents for the transfer and forwarding them to you for signing.
- Reviewing statement of adjustments and settlement statement. (A statement of adjustments ensures that you are paid rates and charges for that part of the rate year that you have paid for the property in advance.).
- Arranging settlement with the purchaser’s solicitor and any lender
- Providing cheque directions to the purchaser’s solicitor.
- Attending settlement on your behalf.
- Preparing and serving notices on the council, water authority and the State Revenue Office (Land Tax Department) confirming the change of ownership of the property.
