If your loved one has passed, often they leave behind assets and debts that need to be managed and finalized
If your loved one has left a valid Will, then you must contact the Executor of the Will. The Executor will then need to apply for Probate at the Probate Office of the Supreme Court
IF YOUR LOVED ONE HAS PASSED AND HAS NOT LEFT A WILL,WHAT SHOULD YOU DO ?
If your loved one has no left a valid Will, then your loved ones closest next of kin will usually be responsible for finalising their estate and be appointed as the administrator of the estate.
The administrator will then need to apply for letters of administration and apply the rules of intestacy to distribute the assets.
